The National Laboratory of Cooperative Technologies builds and develops innovation capacities and competences for the defense industry. Its main goal is the physical and content realization of an „innovation space” that plays a key role in the digitalization, research and development of the civil and defense industry at the national and regional level. The aim of the domestic defense innovation developments is to build a defense innovation system (ecosystem) that produces dual-use (military and civilian) products and is based on domestic research and knowledge, relying on the existing and developable competences and capacities of universities and research institutes.
